Wack, wack potato snacks

Preparation time: 10 minutes

If you're by yourself or in a hurry, here's a quick meal idea.

 

Cooking directions

  • Microwave whole, unpeeled potato for about 3 minutes (or until soft).
  • Make a deep cross (wack, wack!) into potato.
  • Generously fill with your chosen fillings.
  • The cooking time gives you just enough time to grate some cheese and get out a few other goodies like tomatoes, baked beans, pickles, hummus, spring onion, chives, creamed corn, mushrooms, or tinned tuna. You will soon come up with your own favourite filling combinations.
  • Great to teach your children so they can make their own!

Try:

  • Using kumara instead of potato.
