Salad wraps
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Prepare this popular cafe meal yourself. The best wraps are home-made and can be prepared in a few minutes. Use any combination of your favourite salad ingredients.
Cooking directions
- Spread chutney over the tortilla bread.
- Arrange the ham and lettuce evenly over the bread, then top with carrot and pepper.
- Roll up firmly. The spread helps hold the wrap together so make sure there is some along the last end that gets rolled up.
Try some of these fillings:
- hummus, low-fat mayonnaise or cottage cheese instead of chutney
- tomato
- sliced cucumber
- cheese instead of meat
- baby spinach
- avocado or guacamole
