No-cook noodle snack

Preparation time: 7 minutes

A great snack for serious after-school munchies.

 

Cooking directions

  • Put noodles, bean sprouts, grated carrot and grated courgette in a bowl.
  • Pour boiling water over noodles and vegetables.
  • Allow to sit for 5 minutes.
  • Drain well.
  • Gently mix Hoisin sauce or soy sauce through.

Try:

  • Using sweet chilli sauce instead of Hoisin or soy sauce.
  • Using low-salt soy sauce.

2 cups boiling water

1 packet instant noodles, throw away flavour sachet

1 1/2 cups mung bean sprouts

1/2 cup grated carrot

1/2 cup grated courgette

1 tablespoon Hoisin or soy sauce
