Cooking directions
- Melt chocolate in microwave. Heat for 2 minutes on a low setting. Stir, then heat for another minute and stir. Repeat until chocolate is completely melted.
- Or melt chocolate on the stove top: Place a chocolate in a bowl, and place bowl over a pot of boiling water. Stir occasionally until melted.
- Hold the strawberry by green stalk and dip into melted chocolate.
- Place dipped fruit out on a piece of baking paper and leave to set; this will take about 30 minutes.
- Arrange fruit on a platter and store at a cool room temperature until needed.
Tip:
- Try using any of your favourite fruits: grapes, banana, sliced apple, peaches, pear, dried apricots, dried apple…
- Make sure fruit is at room temperature. Using cold fruit results in condensation forming which will prevent the chocolate from sticking.
- Dip the fruit same day you wish to serve it.
