Preparation time: 10 minutes

This is a yummy easy dip family and friends will love! It's also wonderful over any cooked vegetables.

 

Cooking directions

  • Put cheese, cornflour and juice in a saucepan.
  • Heat gently. Stir frequently for 4 to 5 minutes until the cheese melts and the sauce is thick and smooth. Or use a microwave proof bowl and cook in the microwave for 4 or 5 minutes (stop a couple of times during cooking to stir thoroughly).
  • Serve with a big selection of fruit chunks, vegetable sticks, fresh crusty bread and pita bread triangles.
  • Use any selection of fruit and vegetables that you like - apple, pear, banana slices, pineapple chunks, carrot, cauliflower, broccoli, celery, radish, cherry tomatoes, mushroom halves, red or green pepper, cooked kumara or potato.

Tip:

  • Choose a lower fat cheese such as Edam.
