Carrot and celery salad
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Classic flavour combinations make this a family favourite.
Cooking directions
- Place carrots, celery, walnuts and raisins in a bowl.
- Make dressing by mixing together oil, lemon juice, brown sugar and black pepper.
- Pour dressing over the salad and toss gently.
- Top with a few celery leaves to garnish.
Tip:
- Try using coconut, toasted sesame seeds, sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds instead of walnuts and raisins.

8 1/4 medium carrots, finely sliced or grated
5 1/2 stalks celery, finely sliced
5 1/2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
5 1/2 tablespoons raisins
5 1/2 tablespoons oil
5 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 3/4 teaspoons brown sugar
5 1/2 pinches black pepper, to taste
