Banana or peach smoothie

Preparation time: 4 minutes

This yummy smoothie is an easy and fun-to-make snack.

 

Cooking directions

  • Mash banana or peaches in a bowl with a fork.
  • Put all ingredients in shaker (or use a clean, empty 2-litre milk container if you don’t have a shaker).
  • Shake everything together until it’s all mixed and fluffy (about 10 to 15 seconds).
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Try:

  • Replacing the banana or peach with any other sort of fresh, tinned or frozen fruit that is easy to mash (if you have a blender then harder fruits can also be used).
  • Using frozen bananas gives the shake a nice creamy texture.
  • Adding ice cubes to make a cool, refreshing drink in summer.

Ingredients

1 small banana, or 1/2 cup tinned peaches

1 cup low-fat milk, chilled

4 tablespoons yoghurt, optional

1 pinch cinnamon, optional
