  • A bowl of wheat biscuits and milk makes a fast after-school snack.
  • Chopped raw vegetables such as carrots, broccoli, celery, cauliflower, tomato or cucumber pieces can be tasty and fun for kids to eat.
  • Freeze portions of soup and defrost for a quick, hearty snack.
  • Grab and go snack ideas - glass of milk, piece of fruit, cherry tomatoes, home-made popcorn, hard-boiled egg, leftover cooked taro or kumara
